Description
This phenotype will be used to determine the pseudo case start time for the cesarean delivery portion of obstetric labor epidural cases that convert to cesarean delivery.
Limitation
Accuracy of this start time is dependent on data and documentation quality. It may determine a start time that is different from the actual time that the case clinically changed to a cesarean delivery case. This phenotype may shorten or lengthen the amount of time considered and is a best estimation of the time to choose.
Data quality is limited to individual site documentation accuracy, completeness, and variable mapping, which is performed by each site, independently.
MPOG, as the coordinating center, reviews data quality at each data upload and monthly via Data Diagnostics and Case Validation tools. This review,
while thorough, may not contain all data elements relevant to this phenotype and thus should be carefully reviewed by the user.

The earliest of:
- 50003 'Patient in Room Date/Time' if within 60 minutes before 50006 'AACD Procedure Start Date/Time' OR 50235 'Surgical Incision' OR 50357 'Uterine Incision'
- 50596 'Obstetrics- Labor Continued as C-Section'
- 50006 'AACD Procedure Start Date/Time'
- 50628 'Preinduction- Patient transported to OR by anesthesia team'
